A. Terms and Condions of Enrolment

ENROLMENT & ACCEPTANCE All applicaons will be assessed by the Administraon Manager Payment of the tuion fee is payable within 14 days of the
acceptance of oer. Aend a personal interview, for applicaons lodged in Australia.
E. Privacy PolicyWestern Senior Secondary College is required to provide the Victorian Government, through
the Department of Educaon and Early Childhood Development, with student and training
acvity data which may include informaon I provide in this enrolment form. Informaon is
required to be provided in accordance with the Victorian VET Student Stascal Collecon
Guidelines (which are available at hp://www.educaon.vic.gov.au/training/providers/
rto/Pages/datacollecon.aspx). The Department may use the informaon provided to it
for planning, administraon, policy development, program evaluaon, resource allocaon,
reporng and/or research acvies. For these and other lawful purposes, the Department
may also disclose informaon to its consultants, advisers, other government agencies,
professional bodies and/or other organisaons. I have been advised by the training
organisaon that I may be contacted and requested to parcipate in a Naonal Centre forVocaonal Educaon Research survey or a Department-endorsed project or audit or review.
The Educaon and Training Reform Act 2006 requires Western Senior Secondary College
to collect and disclose my personal informaon for a number of purposes including the
allocaon to me of a Victorian Student Number and updang my personal informaon on
the Victorian Student Register.
Students studying at WSSC can withdraw or cancel their courseat any me if they do not wish to connue further. To do this thestudents must

21. Terms and Conditions
The following access and equity guidelines are designed to removebarriers and obstacles so that all students have the opportunityto gain skills, knowledge and experience. Access and equityguidelines will be implemented through the following strategies: Access to VCAL subjects will be available to all eligibleparcipants regardless of gender or race. All parcipants will be provided with the opportunity to gain afull qualicaon. For parcipants with special needs, access to addionalassistance will be provided.
Where poor literacy and/or numeracy skills present a barrierto parcipaon, addional support will be provided to theparcipants within the capacity of WSSCs resources to providesuch support and/or external assistance will be accessed asrequired.WSSC acvely encourages the parcipaon of a cross secon ofthe community. B. Access and Equity
Tuion fee payments prior to the start of the VCAL senior programare protected by the Commonwealth Government TuionProtecon scheme(TPS).All students enrolled at WSSC are eligible for a refund underspecial circumstances, such as: In the event that your course is cancelled or rescheduled by WSSC(provider default) WSSC will refund your enrolment and tuionfees in full within two weeks. If your student visa has been refused by the Departmentof Immigraon and Cizenship, you can receive a full refund(excluding the enrolment fee)*. If you withdraw more than ten (10) weeks prior to course orsemester commencement you can receive a full refund (excludingthe enrolment fee)*. If you withdraw four (4) to nine (9) weeks prior to your course orsemester commencement you can receive 70% refund.* If you withdraw less than four (4) weeks prior to your course orsemester commencement you can receive 10% refund.*If you withdraw aer the course or semester commencement,you will not receive a refund. In the event that you withdraw fromthe program aer your course or semester commences, or yourenrolment is terminated for failure to comply with WSSCs policy,bad behaviour, unsasfactory progress, failure of examinaons,unsasfactory aendance, or non-commencement of studies, allfees for the current and next semester (if applicable) are non-refundable.
All approved claims for refund are paid within 20 business daysof receipt of the wrien applicaon. All students who believethey have been given an incorrect refund are entled to appealthe decision and are entled to have an independent personappointed at WSSC expense to resolve the appeal. This agreementand the availablity of complaints and appeals processes does notremove the rights of the student to take acon under Australiasconsumer protecon laws. *Refunds will be made within 20working days.
In the event that an extension to your student visa is not grantedand the course has commenced, a refund will not be issued.You are advised not to enrol if you believe your visa will not beextended. No refund will be issued, which includes all moniespaid or scheduled to be paid to WSSC, and the balance of alloutstanding fees for the course will be invoiced to the Student.Overseas Students abandoning or withdrawing from a courseof study without noce will be reported to the Department ofImmigraon and Cizenship, as required by law.
G. Fees and Refund Policy
Customer complaints are to be solemnly considered and reviewedwithin 10 working days of being lodged. We will act upon thesubject of any complaint found to be substanated. Appeals mustbe lodged within 20 working days of the assessment decision, andwill be re-validated by the Deputy Principal. Appeals in regards
to the Department of Immigraon and Cizenship reporng oncourse progress/fees must be lodged within 20 working days ofthe nocaon as aforemenoned. The outcome will be noedin wring. For further informaon, please visit: wsscollege.com.au.
C. Complaints and Appeals Policy
WSSC is commied to only have registered teachers of thehighest calibre. Every teacher is fully qualied and experienced.Your teacher will also assist you in any way possible to ensureyour learning experience is memorable and insighul. Alltraining is delivered in classrooms and in simulated situaons.Assessments include wrien examinaons, assignments, reports,praccal acvies, and observaon in classroom and/or duringyour simulated work environment at the campus locaon.

D. Program Delivery and Assessment
WSSC students can access their results on request. A Statementof Aainment of the completed units can be issued at any me
during the course upon request.A WSSC Cercate of Compleon will be issued once all unitshave been sasfactorily completed and all agreed fees are paid.Details are submied to VCAL where VCAL cercates are issuedtwice yearly.

23. Submission
If you are a successful applicant, Western Senior Secondary College
(WSSC) will issue your Oer Leer and Acceptance of Form stang
the course for which you have been accepted. The Oer Leer will
state all the course details as well as the fees for the course.
The Acceptance Form is the actual agreement, which states all the
informaon about the course, fees, refund etc. You will have to sign
this form to accept the oer from WSSC.
Return the copies of the Oer Leer and Acceptance Form
with your signature and the date to WSSC and your course will
commence as agreed.
