The following criteria MUST be met at the time of application:
Completed BIO 220, 253 with a minimum GPA of 2.5: (See Pg.5 for details)
Completed or enrolled in BIO 254. Must be completed by the start of program with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Completed or enrolled in MAT 133 or higher. Must be completed by the start of program with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
(see p. 10 #5 for details)
Completed ENG 131, COM 231 or 240, CEM 131(chemistry courses taken at another institution that do not transfer
into Jackson College as CEM 131 will be evaluated on an individual basis), PSY 140, minimum of 2.0 in all courses (See
Pg.5 for Details)
Completed HESI Admissions Assessment (A2) Test. Students must achieve a minimum 75% in Math and the English
Language Composite Score. For sign-up instructions see the JC DH Web Site. HESI A2 scores must be completed within
the last 5 years. Admission testing is only allowed two times. (see page 10 #6 for details)
ALL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE APPLICATION DEADLINE

Students MUST consult with a Student Success Navigator. The Navigator’s signature indicates that the point system has
been reviewed with the applicant. The student’s signature verifies that all the admission requirements have been met.
