Procedures

• 1. get 3 bowls use a measuring cup and measure about ¾ cups of water and put it in one bowl and do the same for the rest.

• 2. cut the 3 different of apples in two slices each drop one of them in each bowl at the same time with your partner.

• 3.put the bowls in the same place stay for about 4-5 days make sure you check them everyday or 4-5 hours each day and write a response.

• 4. take pictures of the experiment from the time you start to the time you put the apple in to the time you took them out to examine them.

• 5. Make a chart and write what happened

Conclusion

• My hypothesis was wrong because trial 2 of the first 1 was right because its apple was tearing apart and getting softer by each day because of the lemon juice and salt. I thought that trial 1 the apple with water would have the most dehydration.

Hypothesis

• I think lemon juice had the greater effect in the apple because it might get hard or soft or stay the same within three days, an if it does not do anything then well do it over.
