Financial situation in The Netherlands

• Income has increased from 23.000 Euro in 2005 to 35.000 – 45.000 Euro in 2006.

• Prices of apples were 10 % higher as in 2005.

• Prices of pears werd 15 % lower as in 2005.

• Harvest 2 weeks earlier

• Apple : 41 Ton/ha

• Pear : 34 Ton/ha

• Good quality (no russeting – no scab)• BUT a lot of hail damage
