Chapter 1 Connect to HooToo TripMate

1.1 Download HooToo TripMate

2) Download the app for your Android smartphone or tablet

1.2 Connect to TripMate

1) Insert USB storage (e.g. USB Disk or HDD ) to the USB port on TripMate

Note: TripMate supports NTFS/FAT16/FAT32 formatted hard disk but does not support USB hub with 2 or

more USB drives.

2) Connect your Android smartphone or tablet to TripMate wirelessly.

Note: Please make sure your Android device is connected to TripMate, otherwise you cannot access the USB storage

device.

Now you can access the data from your USB Storage in My TripMate. If you tap on My Device (bottom right), it will lead

you to the file management page of your Android device.

Note: Up to 5 devices can connect to TripMate and share media at the same time.

Chapter 2 Media Sharing

2.1 View Pictures

Here you can view the pictures stored on the USB storage device:

Click Share, you can share your picture with your friends on Internet

2.2 Play Music

Select one song to play:

Note: You can change the View

You can click to play the last song, click to play the next song or click to repeat the song.

2.3 Stream Videos

Select one video to play:

Note: If the app cannot play the formatted video directly, please download a 3rd party player which can play other types

of video formats. Hold the file for 3 seconds to open a window to choose a 3rd party player.

Click View Video Info to view the video info:

Click Switch aspect ratio to change aspect ratio:

3.1 Network Setting

Your Android device can also access the internet via the HooToo Tripmate app.

1) Tap on Settings

2) Select under Internet Access > Wireless Access, then choose the existing SSID and connect.

4) Now your Android device can access the Internet

3.2 Transfer Files

3.2.1 Transfer Files to Your Android Device

To transfer files from your USB Disk to your Android device, please follow the instructions below:

1. Tap on Manage, select the files you want to transfer to your Android device, click Download
