Novo Nordisk School Challenge Cup On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Open Fun Foot-ball School and NOVO Nordisk organized in November one day fun activities and games for children in 10 different towns of Macedonia in the period from 13th till 18th of No-vember. Over 1000 children and 40 couches took part in this event where the main goal was to teach the children about the diabetes and that through sport this situation among the children can be reduced. Thanks to the wonder-ful weather that Saturday around 100 children from Gev-gelija had fun through the games of Bon-Bon cup, and in the end they also received diploma for participating in this event. Zoran Arsovski’s exhibition in Gevgelija

On the 19th of November in the exhibitory parlor of Apollonia Hotel was opened an exhibition of young academic artist from Ku-manovo - Zoran Arsovski. After the exhibitions in Kumanovo and Ohrid this was his first presentation in front of the Gevgelian public. The braveness of the author his actual work to present in few totali-ties which are not connected among them can be understood

like a wish for more detailed presentation but also as esthetic provocation which should inspire argument. That particular interaction on the relation artist-art-public is the basic idea of Zoran Arsovski, the starting point in his work and the final destination in his realiza-tion.

Zoran Arsovski was born 1980 in Kumanovo. He graduated on the Nacional art academy in Sofija in 2005. Took a master degree in 2007 from the same academy in the class of prof. Bozidar Bojadziev and prof. Stanisla Pamukciev. Took part in few international art exhibitions and art communes in our country and abroad.

In terms of helping the local commu-nity, Apollonia Foundation has al-ways been supportive because of the belief that it’s part of our respon-sibilities as citizens to invest in the place where we live and where our children will grow up. In November we made a donation to the Fire sta-tion in Gevgelija for contractive and decorating repairs with final goal improving the conditions of that building. Only in the first 4 months this year the team of the Fire Station

in Gevgelija, which works on the area of Gevgelija, Dojran and Bogdanci, made an intervention 36 times in fire extinguishing actions.

Exhibition of DLUG

On the occasion of the celebration of our towns holiday “7th of November - the liberation day of Gev-gelija”, the Association of artist from Gevgelija, made annual exhibition in Hotel Apollonia. The exhi-bition with thirty two pieces of art was opened on the 2nd of November in the presence of many represen-tatives from the public institutions and authorities in our town as well as many artists and citizens of Gev-gelija.

This event was also supported from Apollonia Foundation.
