Apollo and hyacinthus

Lovers… Apollo left Delphi to be with

Hyacinthus and joined him in Sparta, near the Eurotas River.

This Is Sparta…(sorry)

When I’m With You… Apollo didn’t act as a god when he

was with Hyacinthus. “Quiver and lyre were nothing to him

there…” He did work like carrying nets and

leashing dogs. He probably got new callouses.

Hanging out…

Let’s Get Naked And… One day at noon, the couple

decided to rub oil on themselves and throw the discus around.

Oops… Apollo goes first and

underestimates his godliness Hyacinthus, eager for his turn,

races to catch the thrown disc. He fails.

The Disc Bounces… Death ensues
