    A Message from our President

Dear Friends of the Art of Living Health & Education Trust,

It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to provide an update on the extraordinary achievements

by the supporters of the Art of Living Health and Education Trust in 2015. In the following pages, you will

see the great progress we collectively made towards the establishment of the flagship program of the

    AOLHET – Sri Sri University.

2015 was a year of rigorous outreach, awareness-raising, and partnership development, to leverage growing

national and international attention to health and education development. This also enabled us to build a

stronger coalition of partners around the institutional mandate of The Art of Living Health and EducationTrust. It was a year to monitor and evaluate the palpable and exciting real-world impact of 2014 support to

Sri Sri University, and towards the next substantial capital disbursement planned for 2015. It was a year

spent gaining momentum for lasting positive changes in the health and education sectors, and especially

    towards Sri Sri University.

I want to thank you for your invaluable support, which makes our goal of creating an accessible, equitable

health and education for the under-served, poor and marginalized a tangible reality! Your continuing

support in this collective endeavor is greatly appreciated!

We enter 2016 with more ambitious goals and I am sure we can continue to rely on you! Thank you again

    Anurag Jain ,

    President

    2015 Operational Highlights

In 2015, AOLHET welcomed Mr. Karthik Krishnamurthy as the Operations Manager, Dr. Bharath Rayasam as

the Program Director and Dr. Narendra Mathur as the Program Coordinator. Both Mr. Krishnamurthy and Dr.

Rayasam worked towards building of our new website, and with Dr. Mathur, coordinated the Trust’s efforts

to build a network of volunteers and donors across the United States. They also spearheaded outreach

efforts to broaden the AOLHET donor base and community of engaged supporters.

Outreach efforts included in-person presentations to donors and partners at a range of strategic events

across Washington DC, North Carolina, and a special awareness raising mission to interact with thousands of

participants at the Guru Purnima event celebrations, both in Montreal, Canada as well as Boone, NC in July

    2015.

AOLHET also successfully completed a full-scale re-design of the website, creation of collateral material,

which can be leveraged during the fundraising efforts of our committee members. We accomplished this in

partnership with Gniyes Inc and RSW creative.

Further, we have started using a new state of the art, secure payment portal, authorize.net , to handle

    donations.

As a result of these and other engagements and outreach, tremendous progress has been made towards the

continued progression of AOLHET’s flagship project, Sri Sri University. We hope to build on the foundation

we laid in 2015 to enhance our outreach and pickup pace in our fundraising efforts for 2016.

    Flagship program development in 2015

The flagship program of the Art of Living Health and Education Trust is Sri Sri University, a world-class

academic institution based in Odisha, India, offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level programs.

The flagship development of the Sri Sri University model is AOLHET’s investment in a replicable model to

erect world class universities that impart holistic and value-integrated education in order to develop

visionary thinkers with social-consciousness to lead and precipitate inevitable changes

Sri Sri University and the model prioritize equitable access to sustainable education and healthcare for

youth from across the world. What separates this initiative from all others is that this goal does not meet

only a minimum threshold – rather the model provides for an integrated, fully accredited educational

experience for students, to prepare them for 21st century demands of both the private and public sectors.

This is accomplished through dedicated colleges and degree programs ranging from government and law toArts, MBA, Medicine and Osteopathy.

Sri Sri University combines traditional, comprehensive higher educational experience with an emphasis on

human values as a foundational aspect of its diverse curricula.
