The Bible has much to say about how we steward the resources God has entrusted to us. For every message series we will highlight one verse that relates to both the theme of the series and our reasonable response to give back to God, who gave everything for us.

Welcome! This morning is our Chapel Family Sunday: Grow, where we celebrate the work God has done in the lives of His
people this summer. We have seen abundantevidenceofGod’sgracethrough our students and children over the past several weeks and we are excited to look back at all that He has accomplished.
You will notice our stage looks a little different than normal. This past week we hosted over 400 children at our annual Vacation Bible School (VBS). The theme for VBS was Cave Quest and the children learned that Jesus gives us hope, even in the darkness. As part of our celebration this morning, we will sing several songs from VBS that the children sang this week.
Finally, we will hear several stories of life-change first hand from children and students alike who will be baptized. We have much to celebrate indeed, and it will continue this evening with our Missions Experience, where students will share about their times in Nicaragua, Nashville, North Carolina, and Norfolk.
Again, we welcome you this morning and hope that you will encounter the Savior, Jesus Christ, who alone gives us hope.
Starting today, the Café on Sundays will only be serving breakfast through Sunday, September 4. The Café will be closed Tuesday-Friday, August 9 –12. We will resume our regular weekly schedule on Tuesday, August 16.
