As it is written, ‘He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.’ ” — 2 Corinthians 9:6-9 (ESV) e Bible has much to say about how we steward the resources God has entrusted to us. For every message series we will highlight one verse that relates to both the theme of the series and our reasonable response to give back to God, who gave everything for us. Staff Note: Travis and his family are on vacation and visiting relatives in Virginia Beach. Welcome! is morning is our Chapel Family Sunday: Grow, where we celebrate the work God has done in the lives of His people this summer. We have seen abundant evidence of God’s grace through our students and children over the past several weeks and we are excited to look back at all that He has accomplished. As part of our celebration this morning, we will sing several songs from VBS that the children sang this week. We have much to celebrate indeed, and it will continue this evening with our Missions Experience, where students will share about their times in Nicaragua, Nashville, North Carolina, and Norfolk. Again, we welcome you this morning and hope that you will encounter the Savior, Jesus Christ, who alone gives us hope. Starting today, the Café on Sundays will only be serving breakfast through Sunday, September 4. e Café will be closed Tuesday- Friday, August 9–12. We will resume our regular weekly schedule on Tuesday, August 16.
