WELCOME TO WORSHIP
We are always happy to have visitors with us in Cregagh; and we welcome any who
may be worshipping with us today. We would invite our visitors to sign the Visitor’s
Book in the Church Vestibule, giving name and full postal address. This morning any
parents with babies are invited to make use of the Pebbles Creche.
COFFEE BAR The Coffee Bar is open in the Allen Hall after the morning service and all are invited.
PRE-SERVICE COFFEE BAR Tea and toast are served in the McIntyre Suite each Sunday before Morning Worship.
CHURCH FLOWERS
The Pedestal flowers which are provided by Mr and Mrs K Pollock, Castlecourt,
Leadhill are ‘In Memory of Family’
The Sanctuary flowers are provided by Miss H Sharpe, Ravenhill Court and Ms C
McCormick, Ladas Drive.
OFFICE HOURS
There will be no further office hours until September, please feel free to contact the
Minster or Clerk of Session and an apointment can be made if necessary.
OPEN CHURCH
The church will be open for private prayer and meditation, as usual, on Friday from
10.30 a.m. – 12.00 noon. Volunteers are required to be at the church during this time,
if you can help out please sign the sheet in the vestibule.

MUSIC@McQUISTON
You are invited to McQuiston Memorial Church on Saturday 22nd June at 7.30 p.m.
for a Recital by Internationally Renowned American Concert Pianist, Kevin Aysesh.
The programme of popular piano works include: Beethoven, Gershwin, Chopin,
Brahms and Rachmaninoff. Entrance is free of charge but donations on exit for a
charity will be gratefully received.
CALLING ALL GOLFERS!
A golf outing has been arranged for Friday 5 July at Shandon Park (10.30 a.m). All
golfing members of CPC welcome. Please advise Gordon Dunlop (90453829) if you
would like to attend. Feel free to invite a friend!
PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY
June’s Prayer and Bible Study time will take place on Sunday 23rd at the usual time of
6:30pm- this month we will be looking at an overview of 2 Corinthians.
HOLIDAY BIBLE CLUB Our Holiday Bible Club will resume again this year from 12th – 16th Aug with a
special service on Sun 18th Aug. This year’s theme will be ‘Rocky’s Plaice’ and
enrolment forms will be available from next week onwards. Forms will also go out to
our three local primary schools. We are on the lookout for more helpers of all ages so
if you could spare some time in the mornings of that week in Aug then please give
your name to either Karen McCurry or Rev. McKenzie. Help is required in various
ways: The craft group, the Under 6’s group, the games group and the kitchen staff.
Financial contributions towards the cost of running the week would also be
appreciated and can be given to Pauline Gibson or any HBC leader. Thank you.
BLOBS! DISCUSSION GROUP
The next meeting of the BLOBS! discussion group will be 9:30am on 18th June. New
members very welcome!
TEA AND TALK
‘Tea and Talk’ meet on Wednesday from 2-3:30pm in the McIntyre Suite, all ages
and eveyone is welcome for a time of chat, games and activities

Craft cards are availible in the Allen Hall after worship.
WEEKLY NEWS SHEET
As there will only be one News Sheet in July and one in August organisation leaders
are asked to think ahead and submitted any items to Dennison Mahood by
Wednesday 3rd July for the July issue and Wednesday 31st July for the August issue.
JUNIOR CHOIR
A very big thank you to everyone who supported the junior choir concert when £885
(including Gift Aid) was raised for Emmanuel Ministries Calcutta and their work with
railway and street children in Kolkata.
DOOR SECURITY
Our organisations finish week beginning 10th June. Thank you to all who have
covered door security on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Your help has been
greatly appreciated. The rota will start again week beginning 9th September. If you are
unable to continue on the rota, please contact Barbara Dunlop 90 453829
PASTORAL CARE

CHILDREN'S ANSWERS TO BIBLE QUESTIONS Children were asked questions about the Bible. The following
statements have not been corrected. Enjoy what the children wrote.....
In the first book of the bible, Guinessis, God got tired of
creating the world, so he took the Sabbath off.
Adam and Eve were created from an apple tree.
Noah's wife was called Joan of Ark. Noah built an ark which the animals come on to in pears.
Lot's wife was a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by

Samson slayed the Philistines with the axe of the
