“I loved the course I took and plan on taking all that I can. In-depth knowledge and learning about new products helps me serve my customers better. I work for A.H. Harris & Sons and believe that this would not only benefit me as a veteran inside sales but also could be used as a tool for training new personnel. Also I believe we could use this site to send our customers for training on a new product. Often times new products are introduced or specified. – Sphere 1 University student

The proposed job creation bill Home Star (aka Cash for Caulkers) could potentially create 168,000 weather-ization contracting jobs over the next two years and provide homeowners with $6 billion worth of incentives. This new bill would allow contrac-tors previously employed in the new construction market to begin work-ing in the weatherization market. One of the most significant aspects of weatherization is air sealing and the easiest/fastest way to achieve the numbers required for the Home Star program is spray polyurethane foam (SPF). In preparation for this game changing bill, 12 members of Fomo Products’ front line team underwent training to become BPI Certified Building Analysts (Building Performance Institute, a national standards development and credentialing organiza-tion for residential energy efficiency retrofit work). This week-long training program covered the knowledge required to perform whole-home assessments, identify problems and the cause and prescribe solutions based on building science.

In this time of war, few things are more vital than reaching out to America’s wounded troops as you did with your generous gift. For these troops, many of them young adults, your patriotic kindness means a hand up as they begin new lives after severe injuries and trauma. As a partner in the Wounded Warrior Project mission to honor and empower wounded warriors, you help these men and women move back into the mainstream of the great American life they protected for you and me. Many people use the phrase “Support the Troops,” but you put those words into action as combat-injured troops work to build new lives.

Saluting Your Generosity,
