“Lion’s Mane to the Tails”
District Governors Message
Greetings Lions:
With the fall season upon us this is my favorite season of the year. Club visits are increasing, it is interesting meeting Lions members in District 14-L. When I visit clubs concerning the LCI website, I offer help or contact someone who can help them. To Gregg presented a seminar at Cove Lions Building on September 24th, it was very helpful on using the LCI website.
Visiting the clubs I am explaining to them the importance of increasing membership in our clubs. Lottery tickets for the state convention are available by contacting Lion Denny Hall, club secretaries and myself, which will be for the month of December 2019. There is a meeting on October 16th at 7:00 pm location Woodcock Valley Lions Club Building for discussion on the state convention. Rip tickets for the state convention are available by contacting Lion Denny Hall, which well be held on November 16th, location Woodcock Valley Lions Club Building. The second state council meeting will be held November 1st and 2nd at Wilkes-Barre. The cabinet meeting will be held on Sunday November 10th with the location being the Cove Lions Building beginning at 2:00 pm Have a Festive Fall

District 14-L Hunger Walk
This year we are doing something different with our annual “WALK”. District Governor John
would like to do walk in April at the District Convention at Central High School.
We will be doing a walk for one of the Lions Clubs International Interactions service activities,
hunger. All clubs and their walkers will have the opportunity to choose where they would
like their monies to go. It can be to food banks, school week-end meals, International hun-
ger programs Salvation Army or wherever they choose.
We will once again have tee shirts with this year’s logo for hunger for all walkers. Shirts will
also be available for those who wish to purchase for $10.00. The shirts will be red with black
lettering.
We will be providing more information at a later date.
2021 State Convention Meeting

the planning stages. If you cannot attend this meeting please email me your

If you are interested in what we are doing or want to be on a committee you
are invited to attend this meeting. The committees can always use your help.
