1 SUNDAY, AUGUST 16, 2020 “MY SAVIOR LIVES” Our God will reign forever, and all the world will bless His name. Ev’ryone together sing the song of the redeemed. (Chorus) I know that my Redeemer lives, and now I stand on what He did. My Savior, my Savior lives. Ev’ry day a brand new chance to say, “Jesus, You are the only way.” My Savior, my Savior lives. 2 “O WORSHIP THE KING” O worship the King, all glorious above, and gratefully sing His wonderful love. Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days, pavilioned in splendor and girded with praise. O tell of His might, O sing of His grace, whose robe is the light, whose canopy space. His chariots of wrath the deep thunder clouds form, and dark is His path on the wings of the storm. Thy bountiful care, what tongue can recite? It breathes in the air, it shines in the light. It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain, and sweetly distills in the dew and the rain. Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail, in Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail. Thy mercies how tender, how firm to the end, our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend. “BEHOLD OUR GOD” Who has held the oceans in His hands? Who has numbered every grain of sand? Kings and nations tremble at His voice, all creation rises to rejoice. Who has given counsel to the Lord? Who can question any of His Words? Who can teach the One who knows all things? Who can fathom all His wondrous deeds? (Chorus) Behold our God seated on His throne, come let us adore Him. Behold our King nothing can compare, come let us adore Him! Who has felt the nails upon His hands bearing all the guilt of sinful man? God eternal humbled to the grave, Jesus, Savior risen now to reign! 3 “FACING A TASK UNFINISHED” Facing a task unfinished that drives us to our knees, a need that, undiminished, rebukes our slothful ease. We, who rejoice to know Thee, renew before Thy throne the solemn pledge we owe Thee to go and make Thee known. Where other lords beside Thee hold their unhindered sway, where forces that defied Thee defy Thee still today. With none to heed their crying for life, and love, and light, unnumbered souls are dying and pass into the night. (Chorus) We go to all the world, with kingdom hope unfurled. No other name has power to save but Jesus Christ the Lord. We bear the torch that, flaming, fell from the hands of those who gave their lives proclaiming that Jesus died and rose. Ours is the same commission, the same glad message ours, fired by the same ambition, to Thee we yield our powers. (Chorus) We go to all the world, with kingdom hope unfurled. No other name has power to save but Jesus Christ the Lord. O Father who sustained them, O Spirit who inspired, Savior, whose love constrained them to toil with zeal untired. 6 INVITATION “HERE IS LOVE” Here is love, vast as the ocean, lovingkindness as the flood, when the Prince of Life, our Ransom, shed for us His precious blood. Who His love will not remember? Who can cease to sing His praise? He can never be forgotten throughout heav’n’s eternal days. On the mount of crucifixion, fountains opened deep and wide, through the floodgates of God’s mercy flowed a vast and gracious tide. Grace and love, like mighty rivers, poured incessant from above, Heaven’s peace and perfect justice kissed a guilty world in love. Let me, all Your love accepting, love You, ever all my days, let me seek Your kingdom only, and my life be to Your praise. You alone shall be my glory, nothing in the world I see. You have cleansed and sanctified me, You Yourself have set me free. In Your truth You still direct me by Your Spirit through Your Word, and Your grace my need is meeting, as I trust in You, my Lord. Of Your fullness You are pouring Your great love and pow’r on me, without measure, full and boundless, drawing out my heart to Thee.

7 OFFERTORY “FOR THE CAUSE” For the cause of Christ the King, we give our lives, an offering ‘til all the earth resounds with ceaseless praise to the Son. For the cause of Christ we go with joy to reap, with faith to sow, as many see and many put their trust in the Son. (Chorus) Christ we proclaim, the Name above every name; For all creation, ev’ry nation, God’s salvation through the Son! For the King once lifted high to cries of rage, of “crucify!” Endured the cross as every sin was laid on the Son. To the King who conquered death to free the poor and the oppressed, for lasting peace, for life and liberty in the Son.
