About UsWe are a nonprot organization incorporated in the state of Florida. Our mission is to educate women and children living in disadvantaged and low socio-economical communities. We realize that parents are a child’s rst teacher. We seek to train and support parent to help guide their child’s education. MEF will give all children the opportunity of a strong academic and holistic foundation to succeed in life. With your help, we can provide a continuum of services to the children of Mascotte.

Why Mascotte? Mascotte is one of the poorest cities in Lake County Florida with over 85% Free and Reduced lunch recipients. Research has shown that a signicant number of students, especially those in impoverished neighborhoods, enter school unprepared and stay behind for the rest of their academic career. Let’s give the children of Mascotte a chance to succeed in life.

Invest In Our Future "Every dollar we invest in high-quality early education can save more than seven dollars later on -- by boosting graduation rates, reducing teen pregnancy, even reducing violent crime. Studies show that students who attend a high-quality Early Childhood Education (ECE) program grow up more likely to read and do math at grade level, graduate high school, hold a job, and form more stable families of their own” (whitehouse.gov).
