Bowties and Bye-Byes Remember that Peter Santandreu will soon complete his time with us and return to Christ the King Seminary for his final two years of preparation for priesthood. We invite you to express your appreciation for his presence with us at a ‘Thank you’ and Farewell dinner to take place after next Saturday’s evening mass in the parish hall. The main dish and beverages will be provided by the parish. Please bring a dish to pass such as a salad, pasta/potato dish or vegetable, but no desserts please! We need your reply by Monday. Simply leave a note with your name the number attending and the dish you will bring, or call the parish secretary at 366-1750 (X6).

Rosary for Peace We invite you to join us this Thursday, June 16th at 5:30 p.m. for a rosary and litany here in the church. The intention will be ‘Peace in the Middle East and Our World’. This evening prayer service will continue each third Thursday of July, August, September and October.

Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius The Spiritual Exercises are an in-depth experience of praying with Scripture directed toward spiritual freedom. It involves daily prayer using selected Scripture passages and small group meetings, weekly for the first month, then twice a month for 7 months. For information Respite for Caregivers The role of caregiver for a sick family member is always a very draining experience. Many caregivers long for just an hour or two to attend to their own needs. Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers offers a Respite Care Program that can improve the quality of life for both the person cared for as well as the caregiver. There is a respite care center located here in Dunkirk. Please visit online at www.seniordayprograms.com or call 665-4888 for scheduling.
