News flashes, live broadcasts from the scene and a panel of experts in the studio – all these are part of an exciting audiovisual spectacle presenting the dramatic events that occurred during the Great Revolt (66–73 CE). The audience’s active participation in interactive polls make the viewers feel that they are part of the events as they are happening. The presentation, watched either in preparation for a visit to Masada or to sum up the visit, provides the audience with the broader context of the period, illustrating the agonizing dilemmas faced in the course of the revolt, with reflection on their relevance for Israeli society today.

Target audience: ages 12 and up, travelers, families and tourists

Duration of activity: one hour(the audiovisual presentation is 30 minutes long)

Languages: Hebrew and English

Number of participants: 40-160 per session
