It was a tale of two cities for P&O

Cruises last month, with its newest ship

Britannia debuting in Southampton in the

UK, while its Aurora spent two days in

Sydney showing off her new livery. Britannia

was officially christened in Southampton, by

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. The

143,000-tonne ship glided into the UK port

with the world’s largest contemporary

version of the Union Jack. The cruise line’s

new Union Jack design was also on show in

Australia with the 76,000-tonne Aurora

making her first visit to Sydney since her

refurbishment in November last year.
