Exhibit Guidelines Exhibit Runs September 8 to September 29, 2017 This is a creative individuals time to shine! A theme without borders (within reason). One that gives each artist the freedom to choose work that doesn t fit into any particular category, subject or medium, 2D or 3D. This may be your excuse to step outside of your comfort zone, use the right side of your brain, or color outside the lines! Your challenge is to use your imagination, show us your best, push the envelope, or think outside the box. Wow us with your creativity! We cant wait!. Important Dates Reception: Friday, September 8, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Drop-off: Sunday, September 3, 12 to 3 pm and Tuesday, September 5, 10 am to 5 pm Pick-up: Sunday, October 1, 12 to 3 pm and Tuesday, October 3, 10 am to 5 pm SCAHC members or artists who become members before the show are welcome to submit work. For membership information call 973-383-0027 or visit our website www.scahc.org. Entry Fees Gallery sitting artists - $30 for 3 pieces or $10 per piece Non-gallery sitting artists - $45 for 3 pieces or $15 per piece Portfolios: 20 portfolio pieces wrapped in plastic (Portfolio display rack no larger than 30” x 30” footprint provided by artist) Free for artists exhibiting 3 pieces of art in the current exhibit. (Portfolios must be removed at the end of the exhibit. Any portfolios including the stand and its contents not collected by the artists after four weeks from the pick up date become the property of the Council.) Gallery Policies Please contact the Arts Council with any questions. Entries must be labeled on back with artists name, title, media & price. Hanging work must be framed and securely wired ready for hanging — no saw tooth hangers accepted. It is the artist responsibility to submit their work ready to be exhibited in a safe and stable manor. Artists supply their own pedestals for 3-D work. All entries must be original to the artist and for sale with a 25% commission on all sales retained by SCAHC. The council collects sales tax on all orders. The SCA&HC has the right to decline, at any time, any work that is deemed inappropriate for this event Only designated personnel may hang or move artwork Anything Goes The FREE recepon on Friday, September 8 is open to the public. Partial funding provided by the Sussex County Board of Freeholders. We will accommodate your special needs with at least two week’s notice.

This is a creative individual’s time to shine! A theme without borders (within reason). One that gives each artist the freedom to choose work that doesn’t fit into any particular category, subject or medium, 2D or 3D. Important Dates

Reception:

Friday, September 8, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Drop-off:

Sunday, September 3, 12 to 3 pm and Tuesday, September 5, 10 am to 5 pm

SCAHC members or artists who become members before the show are welcome to submit work.
