– Lovely: acceptable or pleasing
– Good report: well spoke of
– King David kept his mind on these things (Psa 63; 119:47-48; 139:17-18)

• Virtuous thoughts motivate moral excellence
• Praiseworthy thoughts are worth commending
• Add to our faith is virtue (2 Pet 1:5)
• Psa 19:7-9 –The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
