Changing the face of the façade
Monotonous façade design has now become a thing of the past. Representing more than simply a protective envelope, façades have become expressive, conveying the character of both the building and its designer.
Design requirements have consequently become far more individual. Façade designs must fulfil the ideas, concepts and needs of the client and alsecco can help you achieve this.
alsecco's fresh and modernistic approach is to release creativity in façade design. The technical requirements are taken care of by offering only systems that meet even the most stringent technical and planning requirements, allowing total freedom of choice from our range. And with the widest collection of innovative products in the portfolio the design possibilities are endless.

Driven by innovation, alsecco's range of organic, thin-coat renders offer significant benefits over
both traditional cementitious and other modern “synthetic” systems.

Compatibility
alsecco organic renders have been developed based upon acrylic or silicone resin technology. These resin binders are highly elastic and consequentially resistant to surface cracking.
alsecco renders consist of a basecoat reinforced with glass fibre mesh. This reinforcement increases the system tensile strength and works in tandem with the elastomeric binders to optimise crack resistance.
alsecco renders are designed to shelter the sub-structure from the elements. Impervious to water and CO2 alsecco renders provide meaningful and warrantied protection for the building fabric.
alsecco renders are through coloured, so prolonged everyday weathering and wear will not affect the finished appearance of the system.
alsecco renders are designed to allow the building to breathe reducing the risk of interstitial condensation.
alsecco organic renders are UV stable and colour fast, reducing the need for future aesthetic maintenance. All products in the range meet the highest standard on the International Lightfast Index.
alsecco organic renders are fully compatible with a wide range of substrates including: existing mineralic renders, calcium silicate, cement particle and magnesium silicate render carrier boards, concrete, aerated autoclaved concrete and masonry.
Colour and Originality
Material, structure and form are the key design elements of any façade. However, using carefully considered colours in harmony with these elements can dramatically enhance both the architectural concept and built environment.alsecco's Creative Colour System is the ideal tool for modern architectural design. With a standard range of 18 colour groups, each having a minimum of 28 graduated shades from light to dark, the standard list can accommodate most design concepts. However should a bespoke tone be required, a full colour-matching service is available. The extensive tonal palette of alsecco's Creative Colour System does not only offer pastel shades typical of traditional renders, but offers dark and intensive hues - in fact almost any shade is possible.
Stability and Reliabilityalsecco colours only use the highest grade pigments ensuring optimum technical reliability. This means that whatever colour you choose, UV stability, lightfastness and weather resistance are guaranteed. Those who want to minimise maintenance costs and ensure that the façade retains its “just applied” vibrancy for years to come can specify alsecco AlsiColor Silan as the final finish to any of the alsecco render systems.alsecco AlsiColor Silan is a unique nano-quartz technology coating that defines the future of exterior facade painting. Unlike conventional masonry coatings, the AlsiColor Silan not only colours but protects the render by providing a capillary hygrophobic barrier that is water repellent and resistant to algae growth. This additional protection will continue to protect for 15 years in normal climatic conditions and will significantly reduce the need for periodic maintenance.

Nano-quartz technology - How it works
1. Organic and inorganic dirt settles on the surface.
2. The clean concept surface reduces the adhesion of the contaminants.
3. Wind and rain easily removes any contaminants.

Flexewall Impact
Topcoat Primer & Decorative Render Finish
Basecoat TZ1 or Basecoat W & Universal Mesh
Sub Primer HT or P
Flexewall Impact is our highly durable, fully reinforced render system designed for use on masonry and other inconsistent substrates. The system is slightly thicker than other alsecco anti-crack render systems and consequently can be used to level undulating surfaces. The full glass fibre reinforcement increases the tensile strength of the system and enables existing surface cracks to be rendered over without extensive pre-treatment.
Benefits
Increased impact resistant
Better suited to uneven substrates
Cost effective
Water repellent
Provides an excellent range of textures, colours and finishes
Excellent weathering and durability
Excellent for detailing
Durable render with crack bridging and surface levelling properties
