Ansbach Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation

Greetings Neighbor, We hope you enjoy the Family and MWR Winter program guide, Diversions. Your Family and MWR team has put together a great program of trips, activities and events for you, things like: • Grand opening of the Warrior Zone, the new Soldier recreation facility

on Storck Barracks, 11 December. • Following the Warrior Zone opening, join us at the Bunch Fitness

Center on Storck Barracks for a concert by Country and Western artists Aaron Tippin, and the Lowry Sisters. Brought to you at no cost by the Armed Forces Entertainment office, and the Army Family Covenant.

• Watch the garrison website for the new Wanderlist, an online listing

of destinations and activities in Europe and beyond. The list goes live on 1 January, http://www.ansbach.army.mil/FlipBook/Wanderlist/Wanderlist.pdf

• On January 15th the new Ansbach Family and MWR website goes live. Visit www.ansbach.armymwr.com for information about our facilities and programs, and upcoming events.

• Great learn-to-ski opportunities from Outdoor Recreation, call them for tips and information on how you can become a master of the slopes.

• Your Army Community Service centers host many valuable programs and trainings for newcomers, new parents, FRG leaders and others. See the ACS program schedule on pages 12 and 13.

On behalf of the entire Family and MWR Team, we wish you a safe and peaceful holiday season, and a happy New Year. Thank you.

Dan Riley Director, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation
