Concordia University, St. Paul welcomes and encourages students to apply for admission for both fall and spring

semesters. Fall admissions deadline is August 1. Spring admissions deadline is December 1.

What are the admission requirements? • Minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average

• Minimum 20 college-level semester credits after high school

• Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended

Does Concordia accept the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum? Yes! Transfer students who have completed the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum or an Associate of Arts degree from an

accredited institution are considered to have met Concordia’s general education requirements with the exception of two

4- credit religion classes. Concordia University also accepts individual goal areas completed within the MnTC (see

back).

Will I need to submit high school transcripts or ACT scores? Transfer students with 20+ college-level semester credits completed after high school are not required to submit high

school transcripts or ACT scores.

What are the most popular areas of study at Concordia University? Concordia’s most popular areas of study in our traditional programs are business, education, criminal justice, and

biology. Concordia also offers a variety of educational options for adults looking to complete BA degrees in an

accelerated evening or online format, attending class one night per week. More information on this style of program can

be found at online.csp.edu.

What merit scholarships and grants are available? Transfer students are automatically awarded one of three scholarships (renewable for two additional years) based on

cumulative GPA at the time of admission. To be eligible, students must attend full-time in undergraduate day classes

and have completed a minimum of 20 semester credits prior to entering Concordia University. The award amounts

are:

Transfer Advantage Scholarship Complete Associates or MNTC at

partner school

Lutheran Heritage Scholarship Member of an LCMS congregation $1,000/year

Music Scholarship Active participants in music ensembles

& private or group lessons at CSP

Up to $1,000/year

Theatre Scholarship Active participants in theatre, both on &

off stage

Up to $1,000/year

Transfer Regents Scholarship cumulative GPA 3.5 - 4.0 $6,000/year

Transfer Presidents Scholarship cumulative GPA 3.0 - 3.49 $4,000/year

Transfer University Scholarship cumulative GPA 2.5 - 2.9 $2,000/year

TRANSFER CURRICULUM MAP FOR GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES

The following courses at Anoka Ramsey Community College are recommended as general education requirements for

an efficient transfer process into Concordia University, St. Paul. This transfer guide applies to students who intend to

enter one of Concordia’s traditional daytime on campus programs. Additionally, the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum

(MNTC) and Associate of Arts (AA) degree are fully accepted as completion of general education requirements with the

addition of two Concordia religion courses.

Concordia University maps the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum as listed below. Note: If a student completes a MNTC

goal area, they meet the related General Education requirement of Concordia University indicated in the left column

below. If a student does not complete a specific MNTC Goal area, recommended individual courses are noted below. In

general, a student should choose a course in the Goal Area that is in the same discipline as Concordia’s equivalent

course.
