Our Mission, Vision, & Values
Who We Are:
Rocky Mountain Health Care Services (RMHCS) would like to be known for the best health care services in the Pikes Peak region. We will be a thriving nonprofit, continuing to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, person-centered care, expanding our services in Colorado while influencing care on a local, state and national level. We will eliminate healthcare worries, elevate quality of life, be the region’s employer of choice and become the leading catalyst for change in health care. We provide services through our Rocky Mountain PACE, BrainCare, and HealthRide programs. We will
grow and respond to the health care needs of our community as it continues to change. Our goal is to be supporters of change, while improving and collaborating with others when it comes to providing a range of excellent health care services.
What We Do:The mission at Rocky Mountain Health Care Services is to provide the highest-quality, cost-effective, person-centered services to improve lives, optimize wellness, and promote independence for those underserved. We work diligently to keep individuals as highly independent as possible. We deliver exceptional care to enrich the lives of our participants and empower them to live vibrant, independent lives.
We work towards this goal through programs that are designed to meet the specific needs of individuals living in El Paso and Teller Counties. All of our programs have worked toward this same goal since 1976.

Board of Directors
Two floors provide expanded services and
care for our 437 Rocky Mountain PACE
participants. A third floor offers brain injury
therapy programs for both residents of our
four BrainCare facilities and members of the
community. Rocky Mountain HealthRide
installed new software to make our
transportation service even more efficient
for participants in our PACE and BrainCare
programs.
Your board of directors spent much of
the year working with senior staff in refining
Rocky Mountain’s mission, vision, and strategic
plan. Rocky Mountain Health Care Services’
mission is to provide the highest quality,
cost-effective, person-centered services
that improve lives, optimize wellness, and
promote independence for those at risk and
underserved. Our five-year vision is to be a
thriving not for profit, continuing to deliver
high quality, cost effective, person-centered
care, expanding our services in Colorado
while influencing care on a local, state, and
national level. Our strategic plan will make
this vision a reality.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, and the
President & CEO,
2016 has been a year of change and tremendous growth for Rocky Mountain Health Care Services. We moved into totally remodeled facilities at the old Eisenhower Hospital at
2502 E. Pikes Peak Avenue.
