The following pages provide an overview of 2012 data for education, research, financial, and giving categories. The information is presented with gratitude to the many donors who support Stritch and its students. Thank you for sharing a vital commitment to the future of health care.

uring the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine continued its commitment to educating future physicians and researchers who are widely recognized as leaders in their professions.

Under the leadership of Linda Brubaker, MD, MS, FACS, FACOG, appointed dean and chief diversity officer in

November 2011, the Stritch School of Medicine built upon its Catholic heritage and Jesuit traditions of ethical behavior and scholarly distinction in research and education. As it has since 1909, when Loyola University Chicago created its first medical department, the school stays the course toward the achievement and application of new knowledge that advances our mission, globally, and in the communities we serve.
