Annual Report 2018-19

School Of India aims to nurture the different facets of a student as traditional

passive learning is replaced to make learning fun and interesting. The STEAM

WAY of learning each topic encourages scientific enquiry, explores the role of

technology and maths while empowering them to engineer creative

innovations. The outdoor classrooms help revitalize and refocus learning that

has become a routine indoors. Being outside a classroom brings cheer, helps

them relax and be focused as the concept is deeply embedded in them. The No

bag day focusses on creating experiences of learning with joy through various

creative and critical thinking activities among the students. The library provides

the students an opportunity for learning beyond text books by conducting

various activities such as book fairs, interaction with authors, storytelling

sessions and creative writing contests. Avid readers are honoured with the

‘Reader of the month’. Inspired by the country that has taught the world, the

school celebrates India with a sense of pride. Our motto ‘Being Indian’ is at the

heart of everything we do and this builds a foundation that the child has a lot

more to share with the world through Indipedia.
