Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, launched the pan India rollout of COVID19 Vaccination drive, via National Informatics Centre's (NIC) Video Conferencing Service. This is the world’s Largest vaccine drive in World, covering the entire length & breadth of India. A total of 3006 sites across all States & UTs of India were virtually connected through NIC VC Services during the launch of this vaccination drive.

Many people from remote area come to big institutions in urban area for different purposes. GPS or Global positioning system helps to reach at these destinations as an assistive technology but after reaching at such location GPS proved to be failed entirely as the matter comes to indoor navigation. Searching a specific department in a hospital or central secretariat is a real trouble for the new people. Here IPS or Indoor Positioning System comes to play a major role. IPS is a network of devices used to locate people or objects where GPS and other satellite technologies lack precision or fail entirely, such as inside multi story buildings, airports, hospitals, universities etc. There are three primary system topology options for hardware and software configuration: Network-based, Terminal-based, and Terminal-assisted. Positioning accuracy can be increased at the expense of wireless infrastructure equipment and installations. Many types of wireless devices can be used for this purpose with varying precision like wifi routers, Li-fi, Ultrasounds, Beacons etc. Many open source and license free software are also available for development of such systems and can be explored over https://www.indoorlocation.io/ .
