We’re excited to share with you that the South Carolina Gamma Chapter of Phi Delta Theta has begun the process of laying the framework to secure the future of our hallowed Chapter for years to come. The fraternity experience has been an important part in many of our successful and generous alumni’s career and we look to take the proper steps to preserve that experience for future generations of Clemson Phis.

In order to help us determine our probability for successfully starting a grassroots annual campaign, we have engaged the services of one of our own alumni, Scott Harkey, who will be volunteering his time to help us determine the feasibility of meeting our financial goals for the project. Before proceeding with a final decision, however we want to seek the advice and counsel of a select group of alumni. As a member of this group, your input and judgement are of great importance to the successful completion of the proposed project.

We would be very grateful if you would thoughtfully consider being interviewed via phone for our study, needing no more than 20-30 minutes of your time. Our purpose is not to solicit funds, but rather we would like to collect your thoughts regarding the ability of our Chapter’s alumi to proceed with an annual campaign and consistently raise funds to secure South Carolina Gamma’s place as the top chapter at Clemson Univerity.

Founded on March 7, 1970 from the local fraternity, Delta Phi Kappa, the South Carolina Gamma Chapter of Phi Delta Theta has seen hundreds of young men over the last 45 years join it’s hallowed brotherhood. This crucial fraternity experience has helped pave the way for many of our successful alumni and actives, as well as provided a lifetime of memories for all that have been initiated into the Chapter. As we look to secure the future of the South Carolina Gamma Chapter, we as ask you to thoughtfully consider supporting the South Carolina Gamma Foundation to help us preserve the fraternity experience for the next generations of Clemson Phis.

Longest continuously tenured Chapter on the Clemson University campus.

Initiated over 900 brothers in 45 year history.

Back to Back Homecoming Champions in 2011 and 2012.

One of the only Clemson fraternities to provide Foundation-owned undergraduate housing.

First Fraternity Chapter to receive Clemson’s “Chapter of Excellence” Award.

The South Carolina Gamma Foundation’s mission is clear: to support the Chapter with guidance and stability to continuously recruit the best and the brightest young men that are accepted into Clemson University by providing the best collegiate fraternity housing.

The Foundation also looks to maintain effective alumni relations to engage all South Carolina Gamma alumni by providing communication services, annual alumni events, and general resources to expand our South Carolina Gamma network.

To meet these challenges, we depend not only on revenue earned by the annual operations of the South Carolina Gamma Foundation, but also on individual philanthropic support.
