The CS Regional Chamber is hosting ourfirst Florida Legislative Update Breakfast,which will be presented by Baptist HealthSouth Florida on June 28th at the Ft.Lauderdale-Coral Springs Marriott from7:30-9:30AM. Mayor Skip Campbell willserve as moderator of the panel thatincludes elected officials representing thestate, county and city. This event providesyou with valuable information you need tomake informed business decisions for thefuture and to learn about "the good, the badand the ugly" from the legislative session.
You will also be able to send in any questions you may want to askthe legislators as well. The Chamber's May Education Recognition breakfast provided achance for you to hear about the incredible accomplishments of ourhigh school business students. I know I was in awe, as many of youwere, when listening to the students speak about theiraccomplishments. I think that we can definitely agree that our future isin great hands! I'm extremely proud that the Chamber was able todonate $5000 to the DECA and BPA clubs of five local high schoolsto support the leaders of tomorrow.
I also want to remind you to send your professionals under 40 toparticipate in NEXTgen, sponsored by JM Lexus; it's an opportunity toprovide networking and education to your employees. The NEXTgenLunch & Learn is on June 27th, please check your emails for thedetails. I hope all of you enjoy the start of summer and take some timeoff to restart and regenerate.
