GENERAL REGULATIONS

Each section is entitled to qualify three skaters in the STAR 5 and Triathlon categories to be skated at the 2015 Skate Ontario Championships. Each section is entitled to qualify four skaters in all other categories. Selection shall be by finish order as determined by the Section in the categories listed in this announcement.

There will be a separate selection process by Skate Ontario after all sections have held their

qualifying events for the two wildcard entries in each category (except STAR 5 and Triathlon). Alternates shall be listed but will be registered only when the Section notifies the registrar and

Technical Representative of the substitution. In the event that a competitor cannot compete in the Skate Ontario Championships, the next

placed skater from the same Section will fill the vacancy, until the vacancy is filled. There will be no backfilling from other Sections of any categories.

or Sectional qualifying competition may register to compete in event categories at the STARSkate level other than those competed in at a Sectional or Sectional qualifying competition.

The section may hold Pre Juvenile and Juvenile sectional championship events

Skaters may enter the Skate Ontario Pre Juvenile and Juvenile categories even if

they have competed at the Pre Novice level or higher in a different discipline. For example a competitor in Pre Novice Dance at Sectionals may still compete in Juvenile Ladies at the Skate Ontario Championships.
