Baron & Baroness Report
Greetings All, Our thanks to all who attended International Festival and helped make it all that it was. Special thanks goes to our pipers' who helped take up the slach and give our fighters a rest. Your efforts have created a special place in our hearts and the Crowns Barony of the Eldern Hills. If you are able to travel, we encourage you to attend Coronation and Namron Protectorate the week after. As we prepare for samhain we encourage all to offer to help in some way. For you that are new, the greatest way to feel a part of the group is to volunteer to assist in the setup and break down and all inbetween. We look forward to the coming seasons activities and visiting with all of you. In Service, HE HE Sir Brom Audriella
Seneschal Report
Greetings to all, Thank you everyone who made International Festival a huge success. My apologies for not being there. Sometimes mundane life just gets in the way. Samhain will be here month!!! Hopefully everyone is getting excited about that. I know I am. Remember the event season is on us go, play, have fun. There are so many great events happening this month in the North. Go make new friends and great memories. Smooth sailing to you all, Lord Meurik
Hospitaler Report
Greetings unto the Barony, I am happy to report that I have gone through all the loaner garb, photographed it, and am currently working on repairs on some of it. However, in doing all of this, I have discovered that there is a lot more women's garb than there is men's garb. I would like to work on evening this out some. There are a couple of pieces that I can take the trim off and it will work for either, but I would like to see some more pants. This would make those tunics more wearable for either sex. I would like to take this time to thank Lord Kenneth for volunteering to teach a class for our newcomers! This is something that I would like to keep going every couple of months. Let's do something to encourage the newcomers to stick around for other classes! Along this note, we always have the newcomers introduce themselves, but rarely do we introduce ourselves to them. I would like to switch this up just a little bit. Along with introducing them, let's think about taking the extra time to introduce ourselves as well. Maybe with a blip about what we like to do within the SCA. Anyway, these are my tarnished two cents! I would love to hear some feedback and any ideas that anyone else might have to encourage our newcomers! Please don't be shy about it! If you have an idea, trust me, you are way ahead of me on most days! We are still an educational group so let's educate!! In Service Lady Fionnghuala Ruadh inghean Ui Choncobhair
Minister Of Children Report
Greetings! Children's games were a success at international fest. Now we are focused on MOC activates for Samhain. Puppet supplies are made for morning activates. I am still in need of volunteers to supply games for our family harvest festival. Please contact me if you or your group can help. Yours in Service, Lady Maeve
Knights Marshall Report
Greetings all, With the International Festival done, we move right into getting ready for another event. I wanted to thank all of those who came out to support the event. The fighters gave it their all and had a lot of fun doing it. I know I did. Don't ease up on your practicing though. Samhain is coming up quickly and I look forward to seeing you all there. As I heard last, there is no tournament at Samhain but there will be pick up fights so feel free to bring your gear. See you all on the flip side. In Service, Lord Faolan An Doire
Archery Marshall Report
Greetings all, We had one practice for the month of September. We had several archers from the Barony attend Mooneschadowe's Triumphe of the Eclipse and compete in their archery competition, and got in a royal round as well. Congrats to Milord Griffin Fane on coming in 2nd! Archery practices will be held on Sundays at 10am, dates and locations TBA, as the weather gets cooler we will schedule the practice times later in the day. If you have any questions please feel free to call or text me! In Service, Lord Aiden Wolfden aka Joe Jordan 580-606-0189 (cell)

If you are in need of something before Samhain, PLEASE get in touch with me either via email/phone or text and I will be happy to try and help! ~In Service Sabiha al-Zarqa' bint Hakim al-'Attar
