Schools and conductin!$ro!rammes to make aare the teachers students S2s ad $ublic in !eneral about */E Act &00-.

    1, 9re$aration of E Guidelines Since */E Act &00- and the State *ules on this Act came into force in &010 *# #e$artment hasim$lemented the scheme of E. n the same year 9eda!o!y ell of SSA $re$ared a handbook in theform of !uidebook has no been revised in &01& academic session and the *evised Edition of thishandbook has already been shared ith Ed.il for their comments and su!!estions.

    /he im$lementation of this Section of */E Act is under $rocess. /he !overnment has constituted aommittee to identify the =eaker Section and #isadvanta!e !rou$ of society. 7n the advice of >a#e$artment e have ritten to North%Eastern and other States to share their vies on this subject.

    7n receivin! their res$onse e ill frame the !uidelines on the im$lementation of this Section of theAct.

    1; School #evelo$ment 9lan SSA in! of *# #e$artment Government of Sikkim has $re$ared a !uidebook on ho to $re$are

    School #evelo$ment 9lan. /he !uidebook has been $rinted and distributed to all the blocks /rainin!9ro!rammes on the conce$t of School #evelo$ment 9lan have also been conducted in all the 8locks.

    1? Nei!hbourhood School 2a$$in! /his is in $ro!ress. /he de$artment has entrusted this job to an NG7 and the NG7 is orkin! on it incollaboration ith N@E9A Ne #elhi. /he re$ort of this eercise ill hel$ us to find out the actualsituation in res$ect of nei!hbourhood schools.

    1B Ne ousehold Survey n order to make an assessment of re4uirement of $rimary and u$$er $rimary schools and also to

    estimate the number of 5out of school children6 and other related $arameters the *# #e$artment hashired the services of #irectorate of Economics Statistical 2onitorin! and Evaluation (#ES2E). /he#irectorate ill be submittin! the final re$ort.

    1' nclusive Education for =SN Assessment am$s have been or!aniCed and the =SN have been identified. =e have also made

    5nclusive Education6 as one of the im$ortant com$onents of /eachers 5/rainin! 9ro!ramme6. /he$rimary aim of this $ro!ramme is to make all the teachers familiar about the ne conce$t of nclusiveEducation.
