Ltd -1 -For, Item:- Insulation Project:- JPVL(2x660 MW) The following terms and conditions shall amend and replace respective terms contained in General Conditions (GC). The expressions used herein shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in General Conditions (G C) No. JP/F/SCM/GC/BOF dt=2 6.11.2009 In case of conflict between the provisions contained in General Conditions (GC) and the provisions contained in this document, the latter shall take precedence. CLAUSE NO. 1 - Definitions Additional Definitions: 1.11 Facilities” means the Plant to be supplied and installed, as well as all the Installation Services to be carried out by the Supplier under the Purchase Or der. 1.12 “Plant “ means permane nt plant , equipments, machinery, apparatus, articles and things of all kinds to be provided and incorporated in the Facilities by the Supplier under the Purchase Order (including the spare parts to be supplied by the Supplier), but does not include Supplier’s Equipments. 1.13 “Site ” means the la nd and o ther p laces up on which the F acili ties are t o b e i nst al le d , and such other land or places as may be specified in the Purchase Order as forming part of the Site. 1.14 “Time for Completion” means the time within which Completion of the Facilities as a whole (or of a part of the Facilities where a separate Time for Completion of such part has been prescribed) is to be attained in ac cordance with the stipulations in the SC and the relevant provisions of the Purchase Order. 1.15 “Completion” me ans that the Facilit ies (or a spec ific part thereof where specific parts are specified in the SC) have been completed operationally a nd structural ly and put in intact and clean c ondition, and that all work in respect of Pre-commissioning of the Facil ities or su ch speci fic pa rt t her eof h as b een c omp leted ; and Co mmi s si on in g h as bee n at tain ed a s pe r Te chni cal Sp ec if ic at io ns. 1.16 “Operation al Acceptance ” me ans the acceptance by the Purch aser of the Facilities (or any part of the Facilities where the Purchase Order provides for acceptance of the Facilities in parts), which certifies the Supplier’s fulfilment of the Purchase Order in res pect of Functional Guarantee s o f the Facilities 1. 17 “Guarantee Test(s)” means the test(s) specified in the Technical Specificatio ns to b e
