SA1 Oral Examination This is to inform you that your child will be taking his/her SA1 Oral Examinations for English Language and Mother Tongue on the following days:

P5 MT eOral FEL/EL After curriculum time 2.15pm – 5.00pm

Your child/ward will have to stay back after school and their remedial/supplementary lessons will be cancelled on both days. He/ She will be dismissed immediately after the oral testing. Please make the necessary transport arrangements on the days of the examination for your child/ward.

Examination Format for Primary 5 Mathematics/ Foundation Mathematics The examination format is structured into two papers:- Paper 1 is the non-calculator component to ensure that important computational skills continue to receive emphasis. Paper 2 is the component which allows the use of calculators. The two papers will be taken on the same day with a break between the papers. The school is using the Casio FX-96 SG PLUS model of calculators. The ‘Natural Textbook Display’ function of these models allows the displays of fractions and square roots just as they are written in the textbooks. However, other calculators that are approved by the Singapore Examinations & Assessment Board (SEAB) will also be allowed in the examination.
