Personal mission
To build collaborative learning environments that engage students and educators, foster passion and perseverance, and build pathways to personal success.
Leadership
Currently the Vice Principal of an independent International Primary school in Singapore, with a diverse student population of 1400+ representing 70+ nations. Responsibilities include creating and managing the timetables of all staff; overseeing the pastoral care of students in grades 4-6 (population of approximately 600+); coordinating and managing the appraisals of 35+ staff members; teacher interviewing and hiring; the review and writing of an international curriculum for Literacy and Mathematics; overseeing the divisional OPEX and CAPEX budgets; coordinating staff professional development; acting as a member of the Academic Board reviewing the governance and curriculum of the school; collaborating with the leadership team and board of governance to develop the school’s strategic plan and fostering the values and mission of the school.
As an independent consultant and International Baccalaureate, Primary Years Programme (PYP) Workshop leader, work across South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand to develop teachers as inquiry and concept based educators. Developing effective practices to build International Mindedness, assessment, differentiation and personalized learning.
