VeryfewgirnmicksareasversatileandpowerfulastheLoop.It isquiteeasytouse,notwellknown,hasanincredibleeffect,is alwaysready,requiresnospecialhook-ups;goodforclose-up,mentalismandstage.Whatmorecanyouask?
YigalMesikais anincrediblytalentedyoungmagicianfromIsrael.Hehascreatedmanypowerfulnew~ffectswiththeLoop.Healsofounditnecessarytoimprovethequalityoftheloopandso,forthepastsevenyearsYigalhassearcheduntilhefoundabetterwaytomanu-facturetheloop.Theproductyoufindherecanbestretchdupto400%ofit'soriginalsize,andisperfectIysuited,instrengthandinvisibility,fortheroutinesfoundinthisbook.

Therearemanytechniquesavailableforthreadworkand1havetriedmost.1havefoundtheLoop(invisibleelasticband)toworkbestforme.Someof themanythingsthatmaketheLoopsoattractiveareit'spracticality,versatility,andeaseofuse.Remember,thesecretisinsimplicity.

LoopBasicsTreatmentand CareIf youhavenoexperiencewiththisproductwewouldsuggestthatyoupracticetheroutineswitharubberbandortieacirclefthreadbeforeattemptingtousetheloop.Thethreadcanbreakiftoomuchtensionisappliedsodonotstretchtheloopmorethan25centime-terso
Loopsareverydelicateandtheydogatherdirtaroundthem.Nomatterhowthinthethreadis - if it'sdirtyit will beseen.Keepitcleanandsafebyputtingitbackin it'spackingafteruse.
Also,if it doesgetdirty,useyourfingerstogatherthedirttoonearea,wheretheknotis,coloritwithablackpermanentmarkerandkeepthatpartofthebandalwaysbehindyourhand.
If youhaveloosefibersonyourclothing,theloopcouldgetcaughtonthemandmightbreak,avoidit bykeepingtheloopawayfromclothingandremoveit fromyourwristwhenchangingclothes.
LightingAs in allthreadwork,therealdangerisnotthattheaudiencewillseethethreaditselfbutthelightit reflects.Beforeyouperformalwayscheckthatthelightingconditionsaresuitable.

Fork Finds Food -RoutineThemagicianplacesa giftboxonthetableandsays"it'sa littlesomethingto giveyouatasteof mymagic,It canbeanyof thefoodsnamedhere".Re shows20-30cardswith differentfoodnamesandasksthespectatortochooseoneofthem(let'sassume'hechoosesCake).Thecardsarespreadfacedownin asemicircleinfrontof thespectator.ThemagicianasksthespectatortoholdaPsychicForknearhismouthandimaginethetasteof hischosenfood.Theforkisthenplacednearthecards,whereitslowlymoves,untilit stops,pointingtooneofthefacedowncards.Thecardistumedovertoshowthatitnamestheselectedfood.Theperformerinvitesthespectatortopickupthefork,openthegiftbox(inwhichhefindsapieceofcake)andtakeabite.

MethodMovetheloopfromthewristintoPalmPosition.

MethodandPresentation.HavealoopatPalmPosition.
Give a matchboxto a spectatorsaying, "Here,Shufflethesematcheswe11,pickamatch,anymatch,rememberit,putitbackintothebox,shakeit.Thisis it,right?".
Whatevertheresponseis totheabovegag,takethematchinyourlefthandandengageit intheLoop,asyoubringyourrighthandtotakeit.(Fig.1)
Takeitwiththerightsecondfingerandthumbatthelongendswiththeforefingerhidingthethread.(Fig.2& 3)Figure2 isanexposedview.
