Even though these animals are in foster care, there may be some that are not yet available for adoption because they may be too young, receiving medical care, or undergoing a training program. Adopting an animal from foster care is a great way to add a new member to your family because you will often get a pet that is already housebroken, leash trained, crate trained, and may even know a few tricks as well. Queen is such a happy, friendly gal. She is good on leash, didn't react to dogs in the kennels, and food motivated. When you walk by her kennel she quietly wiggles her entire body hoping you'll stop to say hello! Once you go in her kennel with her, she will ever so gently put her paws up on you for a hug.

Daisy girl is a sweet, well mannered, well behaved pup. She was owner surrendered due to losing mobility in her back legs and the owners couldn't afford to care for her. They made the hard decision to surrender her in hopes that she could receive medical care. Daisy is able to walk but is having trouble and would benefit from further diagnostics at a private vet. She takes her treats so gently and is a very loving girl deserving of a second chance!

ROUNDS: Happy in the kennel. Easy to leash up and eager to go outside. Walks decently on leash and is trainable. Met with a friendly neutered male. Met well at fence and on/off leash. Initially only interested in sniffing around but became interested in playing shortly after. Plays well. Respectful and tolerant. Did not react towards other dog's vocalizations. He did react when a dog lunged and barked at him when walking back to his kennel and had a hard time redirecting after. Could just be kennel environment.


Pete really is a goofy boy and once he has time to relax, he comes out of his shell and shows off his goofy side. When you see him in his kennel though, he may appear to be shy and reserved. Pete was very easy to walk, even through the scary kennels, and he just wanted to say hello to all the other dogs he saw.

Little, pocket sized Ruth is as calm and sweet as can be. She is very easy to walk on leash, even through the kennels. Once outside, she'll stay near you in the yard and if she hears you have treats, she's at attention. Ruth will come quietly and sit so patiently in front of you waiting for you to offer her a treat.
