Learning Intentions I know the three main types of adaptation.
By looking at an animal, I can identify structural adaptations. I
can suggest reasons for the adaptation because of the animals
environment and can say how this helps the animal to survive.
Success Criteria I can offer ideas in a discussion. I can extract
information from a video I can produce a tidy mind map of different
animals and their structural adaptations.
Slide 3
Adaptations to an organisms environment can usually be
identified as -structural (physical - how an organism is built),
-functional (physiological how an organism works inside)
-behavioural (what an organism does)
