What are epics? Epics are lengthy narratives in verse form that depict the heroic accounts of a person or group of people. The typical elements of an epic include superhuman deeds and adventures, told through dramatic language and a blend of lyrical and theatric traditions. 3. What are heroes? Heroes are people who are characterized as having heroic qualities or have performed heroic acts. Heroes are often regarded as models or ideals. They are the main protagonists in epics.
