tea bowl. Guests can also paint their own ceramics, sketch pictures of traditional tea cups, learn to light a traditional

kiln and wriggle their toes in the prized clay used to make Mungyeong tea bowls.

More than just a local cultural event, the small city of Mungyeong opens its doors to the world and features

international culture, artisans and teas. Visitors can compare tea bowls from around the globe as well as purchase

pieces by ceramic artists from two dozen countries. Global tea culture will be on display, featuring tea etiquette from

countries including Japan and China and a variety of different traditional tea ceremonies. Teas from around the

world are also showcased, making it easy for visitors to choose a couple of varieties to brew up at home.
