PTF Santa Shop!
Santa Shop is a very special event that allows the kids to shop on
their own (with a little elven assistance!) for Christmas gifts for fam-
ily, friends, and even the family pet! PTF Elves help create a magical
shop with an assortment of gifts for a variety of ages, assisting with
the selection, payment, and even wrapping those special presents!
There will also be other activities and pictures with Santa!
And for the parents there will be donuts and pastries, and coffee...and
a chance to do a little shopping of your own with some special vendors
just for you!

Coffee and Conversation
with Mr. Baum
Come have coffee with Mr. Baum, and talk about what’s on your mind.
The next meeting will be in Ballard Hall. *November 14 at 7:00 pm*
We look forward to talking with you!
“For where two or three gather
in my name, there am I with
them.” Matthew 18:20
Everyone is invited to join us at 8:15am Wednesdays in the Sanctuary Lobby to offer
prayers and thanksgiving to God before Chapel.
Parking Lot Pandemonium
Mornings are often hectic, and sometimes we can get testy in the parking lot. Let’s please re-member that we are family, and be patient with those around us—even if you may think they are terrible drivers who are going too slow! We all have to be somewhere and we’ll still get there if we take our time. Watch out for children walking across the lots, and popping out from between parked cars.
Also, some of the congestion can be alleviated by sticking to the traffic pattern:
• If you are going north on Sunbury Road, use the extension to North Street and the traffic light there.
• If you are going south on Sunbury Road, use the South Entrance by the apartments. • Observe the School Speed Limit, and please, be patient!
Our Fall book fair wrapped up on Friday, and I would like to
thank everyone who came out to support the CCCA Library! Thanks
to your generosity, we raised just over $2500, which will be used
for books and supplies for the library! I would especially like to
thank the following volunteers : Christine and Lilah Jajack, Jen-
nifer Thompson, Julia Schumacher, Lisa Reichert, Anessa Hill, Re-
bekah Lyons, Kyra Bryan, Margaret Fry, and students Casey, Olivia
and Shayla. I could not have done it without you!

All around CCCA, students and teachers will be collecting used markers that are ready to be discarded. Please help support our efforts by sending your children in with any used markers you may have around the house- even non-Crayola brands! Highlighters and dry erase markers can also be included. Drop-off boxes are in each classroom as well as near the lobby desk.
With the help of parents like you across the country, the Crayola ColorCycle program can continue to keep tons of plastic out of land-fills each year. To learn more about this recycling program, go to www.crayola.com/colorcycle.
Winter is Coming Here! CCCA students go outside at recess and AfterCare as long as the temperature and wind chill together are 20 degrees and higher. Please be sure your child is dressed appropri-ately for the colder weather, with coat or jacket, gloves
and a hat. Boots are a good idea, but must be taken off in the building so please send shoes, too.

Lost & Found
Our fantastic Lost & Found Rack is cur-rently home to NINETEEN assorted
coats, fleeces, and jackets! In addition, there are shirts, lunchboxes, water
bottles, and miscellaneous items such as gloves, hats, and toys, and there’s
even a pair of earphones! Please make a habit of checking the rack whenever you’re in the Lobby.
And don’t forget to LABEL, LABEL, LABEL!!
Avoid the Dreaded “Lost & Found Scavenger Hunt”!
Please label ALL of your child’s clothing and other possessions with his/her
name in BIG letters with a permanent marker!
The CCCA dress code was created by a parent-student committee, and approved by the Board to ensure consistent branding across campus, and contribute to a posi-tive learning environment. Good grooming should be a mark of every CCCA stu-dent. Modesty, cleanliness, appropriateness, and Christian testimony should guide dress for all occasions, instilling a sense of pride, responsibility, and discipline in our students. Shirts are to be tucked in, shoes tied, buttons buttoned, and all cloth-ing should be neat, clean, and free of stains.
To ensure consistent color and style, Lands' End is our preferred supplier for all uni-form items. If uniform items are purchased elsewhere, adherence to color and style is a must: colors should match Lands’ End shades; NO cargo, corduroy, or yoga pants; NO zipper pockets, loops, or baggy pants; NO logo imprints or cartoon char-acters should appear on any uniform item, including shoes, with the sole exception of the CCCA logo.
Welcome to Handbook Highlights! The entire handbook is available on Parents Web, under Re-source Documents, but we’ve chosen a few topics to highlight over the next several issues. After all, Knowledge is Power! Coming next ...When Your Child is Sick.
The Swap Shop is your source of gently
used approved uniform pieces. All items are free, and may be requested by com-pleting a form at the Lobby Desk. Get those outgrown uniforms out of your house, and back into circulation!

are in the Welcome Center and near Kirk Hall.
Any donations from CCCA families would be greatly appreciated.
