Steps for Setting Up Mobile Security Key with Security Device

Login to Business Mobile App1

Tap Go to Log In from Business Mobile Banking.

Enter Username, Password, and Security Code,

then tap Log In.

Open the Hang Seng Business Mobile App and

tap either:

• the Menu icon at the top-left;

• OR

• the Business e-Banking icon under

Quick Links (go to directly).

Set up Mobile Security Key2

Tap Set Up to create a Mobile Security Key Password with 8 characters.

(This can also be set up later through

Business Mobile Banking > Settings >

Mobile Security Key.)

Read the entire Terms and Conditions by

scrolling down the page. Tap Agree.

Enter the self-assigned PIN to generate a

6-digit Security Code from your physical

Security Device, then enter it in the Hang Seng

Business Mobile App. Tap Confirm.

Enter your Mobile Security Key Password,

which must conform to the password rules

shown below.

Re-enter to confirm your Mobile Security Key password and tap Confirm.

Your Mobile Security Key Password has been

successfully created.

*Note:

• Please retain your existing physical Security

Device for processing high risk transactions and

reset your Mobile Security Key Password.

• For security reasons, you will not be allowed to

use part of the functions via Mobile Security

Key unless you further verify your identity

with us. Please contact our Customer Service

Representatives on (852) 2198 8000 (Press “1” >

“1” > “1” > ”1” after language selection).

Authentication instruction page.

Tap OK to enable notifications so that you can

receive authentication requests.

Toggle on the Allow Notifications / Show notifications switch.

For iOS devices

Select Notifications under Settings > Business.

*Note:

You need to enable notifications manually for

iOS devices. The notifications will be enabled

automatically for Android devices.

Go back to the Hang Seng Business Mobile App.

You have successfully enabled notifications for

the Hang Seng Business Mobile App.

Tap Confirm to proceed.

Steps for Logging in to Business e-Banking (Desktop) with Mobile Device

Log in to Business e-Banking

Select Mobile Device

Select your mobile device (e.g. iPhone 11 Pro)

from the Device to send the notification to: dropdown.

Click Send.

Browse to the Hang Seng Business e-Banking

login page.

Enter Username and Password, then click

Steps for Authenticating on Mobile Device

Tap the push notification on your mobile device to

authenticate the desktop login request.

A reference code is displayed on the Login Approval page on

mobile. Verify that the reference code is the same as that shown

on the desktop.

Please note that the username, timestamp, and browser version

from mobile should contain the same information as that from

the desktop.

Tap Approve on mobile to approve the login request from

the desktop.

8 Approve Login Request

To complete the authentication process, do one of the following:

• Enter your Mobile Security Key Password as created in Step 3;

• OR

• Use your Face ID (for iOS only) to authenticate if you have

enabled Face ID on your mobile device;

• OR

• Use your Touch ID (for iOS only) / Fingerprint ID (for Android

only) to authenticate if you have enabled Touch ID / Fingerprint

ID on your mobile device.
