    Tzuenty -two healthy volun teers aged 20-78 years received

    single 5-m g doses of diazepam by intra venou s injection , by

    mouth in the fasting state, and by

    deltoid intramuscular

    injection. The kinetic profile of diazep am by each route was

    determined from multiple plasma diazepam concentrations

    measured
