Compatible with Android 4.0 & above

NOTE: The Viewer will NOT run on devices that have been rooted, have custom ROMs installed, or in an

Android emulated environment. Some cheaper tablets come loaded with custom ROMs by default and

the Viewer will not run on those devices.

Install the Android Mobile Viewer

1. Make sure your Operating System has installed all the latest updates.

2. Download the Android mobile viewer from the Google Play Store by searching for

“LockLizard”.

3. Once installed, a new PDCViewer app icon will display on your Home screen.

Activate (Register) CED’s License

1. If you don’t already have an app that will extract zipped files (ZIP) to your Android mobile

device, download the free “AndroZip” app from the Google Play Store by searching for

“AndroZip”.

2. From the LockLizard download folder found on MyCED, select the link

‘safeguard_v_license.zip’ to download CED’s license file.

3. Once the download is complete, open the ‘AndroZip’ app.

4. Select ‘DOWNLOADS’ from the list of ‘PLACES’ and select ‘safeguard_v_license.zip’.

5. Choose ‘Extract file here’.

6. The license file ‘safeguard_v_license.llv’ should display. Select the license file.

7. Choose ‘Open’.

8. Choose the ‘PDCViewer’ app to complete the action.

9. A message will confirm successful import of the license file into the LockLizard Viewer ‘Downloads’ folder.

10. You should now be in the LockLizard Viewer app. Select the ‘Downloads’ folder.

11. Select the license file ‘safeguard_v_license.llv’.

12. A message will confirm successful registration.

View Protected Files

1. Select a protected document (PDC file) to be downloaded to your device.

2. Open your ‘Downloads’ folder and select the PDC file.

3. Choose ‘Open’.

4. Choose the ‘PDCViewer’ app to complete the action.

5. A message will confirm successful import of the PDC file into the LockLizard Viewer ‘Downloads’ folder.

6. You should now be in the LockLizard Viewer app. Select the ‘Downloads’ folder.

7. Select the PDC file.

8. The PDC file will then open in the Android mobile viewer as shown below.
