    the top, eating the competition in the smartphone market. From 5.2% marketshare in 2009, it jumped 40% in June 2011, beating its closest rival iPhone with amarket share of 26.6%.

    InMobi, the worlds largest independent mobile ad network, released an insight

    report, giving fearless forecast that Android will be the top global mobile ad

    platform by the end of the year, 2011.

    The report also shares that Android continues to make a significant globalimpact, capturing an additional 1.9 share points in the quarter to reach 16.6%

    ad share.Nokia OS and Symbian OS continue to be the top performing mobile

    platforms globally, with 19.6% and 19.0% ad share respectively, although their
