Our Ministry
The ministry of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church’s (ACUMC) Committee on Finance (COF) is to nurture and support the
financial vitality and health of its congregation by ensuring funds are available to fulfill the mission of our
ministries.
We aim to provide transparency through the setting of the annual budget and by
collecting, recording, & disbursing of funds given in support of local ministries, and by
providing monthly reporting and other periodic forms of communication to the
congregation.
We fulfill Andrews Chapel’s mission statement by being a fellowship of
believers called to witness to our faith in service to God and our fellow man.
2015 Opportunities
• Provide ongoing information to congregation on ACUMC’s financial status,
• Partner with Stewardship committee to increase awareness of stewardship obligation,
• Correct items noted in audit,• Review budget, receipts and
disbursements for first half of year and make recommendation for change in second half of year in accordance with actual givings and stewardship campaign.
