I have learned how to use a fork lift (though not certified), stackers, pallet jacks, electric jacks, and various material moving equipment. I have worked as a supervisor for two years where I had improve people skills, learned time management, conflict resolution, cash handling, team building, and creativity. I am a hardworking, reliable, and honest person, no matter what I do I love it. Life is short why not give 100% and build upon that. I ultimately want to find a career I can show my skills and gifts

Material Supply Handler II

Responsibilities are to assists in the day to day activities relating to inventory control functions supporting

hospital fill/finish Operations. Also includes receiving materials, creating and updating log sheets and

inventory cards, shipping activities, and all inventory movement functions including updating databases,

labeling and maintaining all associated stock items. My job also consist of loading and/or unloading

material between dock and truck with hand truck where applicable. Processes manufacturing and shipping

supplies as outlined in procedures. Records and maintains accurate inventory logs for all manufacturing

components. Reports on inventory. Researches inventory discrepancies and reports findings. Performs

cycle counts, expiration date maintenance and maintains all material storage locations. Prologistix/Nordstrom Warehouse Upper Marlboro, MD

06/2014-12/2014 Assembly Line Worker

Worked on the Assembly line for a Nordstrom through the temp agency Prologistix. My job was to put

the correct price tags, security tags, and discount stickers on the clothing as needed. I was then to put each

item on its appropriate hanger and in the correct packaging. We were required to go through an average

100 items a day.

following safety guidelines. I would also rotate items, setting up displays, maintaining and cleaning the

backroom. I was a cashier and being the assistant supervisor was tasked with helping the cashier on duty

when called and assisting the customers whenever there was a complaint or problem. Handling, storing,

and shipping materials or supplies; operating material handling equipment; accessing information on a

computer; reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. Responsible for maintaining the

Greeted Customers as they entered and exited the store, Assisted with keeping the parking area free of

debris, and retrieved carts. I would also help loading and unloading customer vehicles, chopping and

tying trees to vehicles, tying down merchandise onto cars, and lifting and loading material between 40lbs-

100lbs or more when asked to. Trained but not certified to drive fork lifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks,

and various other jack equipment. Provided excellent customer service and got to know the regular

I worked various jobs for different people and companies when either I was not working or when I was

working overnight at another job or just had time on my hands to help. I assisted with construction duties

while also learning the jobs. I worked on mainly carpentry, landscaping, and masonry jobs. While

landscaping I worked with lawn mowers, weed whacker, saws, and axes. I was tasked starting with just

cleaning up eventually moving to cutting lawns myself, trimming hedges, cutting trees, removing weeds,

and removing tree stumps from yards. While working in masonry, my responsibilities started out as just

clean up and then evolved to digging ditches, mixing and pouring concrete, breaking up concrete, using

tampers, power jacks, helping with finishing, and dealing with the customers. I have had the most

experience with carpentry. My job was to help in all ways possible, cleaning up, putting in windows,

doors, roofing, flooring, remodeling rooms, painting, fencing, and building decks

My responsibility was to receive and account for all mail, packaging, and bulk deliveries brought in and

shipped out by the companies that my department worked under. I had to take training on working with

possibly dangerous equipment and suspicious deliveries, had to display extraordinary customer contact

skills, and make sure that all paperwork was done correctly and information handled properly. Me and my

coworkers were trained on contacting vendors like UPS, USPS, DHL, and other courier businesses about

deliveries and pickups. I also helped out print shop, working with folders, correlators, cutting machines,

big print machines, and had to wrap and deliver skids and pallets for out of state or country business.

Cashier/ Barista I greeted customers and learned to know their drink orders and specific requirements when they came for service every day. I provided excellent customer service skills and took the time to learn on my own the drinks and how they are made to where there was an easy transition from the cash register to the barista bar. I assisted with keeping the store clean and well stocked, making note of what is needed and making calls during inventory emergencies. There were many learning experiences of conflict resolution on how to talk to difficult coworkers, customers, and homeless people who may have had a bad day, bad experiences, or may have just been in bad situations.
