THE EVENT

Enjoy breakfast at the picturesque Campbelltown Golf

Club.

Then play 18 holes including the challenges of the nearest

the pin, longest drive and team nett winner and team

scratch winner competitions. Plus, there are additional

prizes up for grabs, all followed by a delicious lunch over-

looking the course.

Join us for a great day full of ‘networking opportunities’

and enjoy a fun day out of the office, no matter your skill

level, or handicap.

Beginners are more than welcome and will be assisted by

the Academy’s highly supportive Golf program athletes.

About Your Academy

ASSISTING LOCAL TALENTED ATHLETES ACHIEVE THEIR SPORTING POTENTIAL

BACKGROUND

The Academy is a locally based ‘not for profit’ organisation servicing the Macarthur and Liverpool regions. Its aim is to assist

athletes gain selection within sports specific ‘emerging athlete programs’, junior and senior Australian teams, the Australian and

NSW Institutes of Sport and national sporting competitions. All without having to move away from their family, friends, school,

or religious organisation.

With the assistance of its corporate sponsors, the Academy has been able to continue to increase the number of athlete

scholarships it provides to these hardworking young athletes, across 14 varied sports programs.

Current sporting programs include: AFL, AFLW, BMX, golf, netball, basketball, softball, athletics, triathlon, plus the Wests Future

Stars ‘individual athlete’ program which includes a wide range of varied sports, including athletics and wheelchair basketball for

‘Para-Athletes’. The Academy has also instigated a comprehensive education program supporting over 70+ volunteer coaches

and support staff members.

There are many more highly talented fine young athletes in our region deserving of similar opportunities in their chosen field.

These athletes would also be proud to represent our region on the national and international stage.

The success of this fundraising event depends upon sponsorship support, prize donations and the participation of people like you.

Together we can assist these young community citizens in their quest for excellence and bask in the community pride of their

achievements, simply by enjoying a fun filled day of golf.
