Nov 1-4 Hilltop Players: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman, MTI
“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is a delightful musical that centers around a fictional spelling bee where six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally-quirky grown-ups. It forces the overachieving “outsiders” to examine themselves, their families, and each other. Infused with empathy and heart, “Spelling Bee” is downright hilarious. The only word for it is “W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L.”BC Community - $8 Non-BC Students/Seniors - $10 Adults - $12
