    I BOOK REVIEW

    Read an interesting book of your choice. Design a creative book cover for it.

    Write a 2-page book review of the book on A4 sheets. Thread them together.

    Include:

    • the title of the book • the author of the book • the time when the story takes place • the location where the story takes place • the names and a brief description of each of the characters you will be discussing • quotations and examples from the book to support your opinions

    1) Start with a couple of sentences describing what the book is about. 2) Discuss what you particularly liked about the book. 3) Mention anything you disliked about the book.

    Make a diet diary for 10 days, by recording what you ate daily for all the meals. Create a

    table as given below.

    • Give yourself 1 point for eating a healthy meal e.g.: (palak paneer with chapatti), 0 points

    for an unhealthy meal example ( burger, pizza )

    • Calculate your total score.

    Find out the items which have:

    Draw a map of India on a half chart paper. Collect pictures of dishes from all over the country

    from old newspapers and magazines. Stick them in the correct place on the map to show the

    region where these dishes are eaten the most.

    Make a food pyramid with pictures. Put it on a triangular thermocol or cardboard.

    The students have to select any 10 foods from the pyramid and identify the food group

    they belong to. Put your information on an A4 sheet and stick it at the back.
