As the Director, I oversee the development and training of Sanskriti School. I am a firm believer in Sanskriti’s balanced learning curriculum because we place special emphasis on literacy instruction, hands on learning activities, building a foundation for understanding mathematics, the integration of technology to support learning and most importantly, on the development of confident, happy children.

The concept of balance is core to the Sanskriti approach to curriculum development and programming. We believe each child is unique, capable, curious and in the process of discovering how the world works. We want to encourage this natural process by providing the kind of teaching and learning environment that will foster the development of all rounded children. Our balanced learning curriculum provides teachers with an instructional blueprint that enable them to promote and support children’s learning in multiple ways through listening, seeing, hearing, touching and play.

We consider multiple aspects of development and learning-cognitive, social emotional, physical, creative and fine/gross motor development - in the design of our research-based curriculum.

Another important component of the balanced learning curriculum deals with character development-understanding concepts like friendship, generosity and honesty which are at the heart of the culture at Sanskriti. I know from my many years of teaching and rearing my own children that

character doesn’t just happen by itself. To raise a generation of compassionate adults, we need to start young and make caring for others a way of life whether its’ at home or at school. The 8 personal goals of the IPC: Inquiry, Cooperation, Thoughtfulness, Adaptability, Morality, Respect, Resilience and communication are the key to developing the core values of our learners.

Our school recruit the best teachers and train them constantly, to bring our balanced learning curriculum to life in all our Sanskriti classrooms. Having purposeful, engaging curriculum and instructional interval to teach, gives our teachers more time to focus on individual children’s need and growth. At Sanskriti, we focus not only on Knowledge but in enhancing Skills and developing Understanding and Attitude. A big focus is given to integrate the National Curriculum with the best International Education to build a culture of International Mindedness. When i talk to my teachers, i often hear that they are proud to be a part of an organization that is committed to making a difference in children’s lives.

In my experience in the field of education, i have found few schools to be truly focused on implementing the best blend of curriculum and assessment for children.

Sanskriti School is exemplary in this respect. I feel honored to have the opportunity to play a role in its emphasis on providing the best platform for learning and teaching.

Over the years we have witnessed tremendous change on the way education and academic have progressed. The reason for the change is the way the world has developed leaving behind much static work demand and leaping towards new needs and discoveries. The jobs and industries which were once considered important have now started diminishing and what we once thought could never work out have immersed. This trend will continue at an even faster pace and with it, the need to be up to the marks will ever be more important.

Therefore, when we nature our children we must be able to inculcate their ability to be critical thinkers as a profound worker who can understand the gravity of any given situation and come out with the best result. Overall we must think of harnessing their human quality and show them the way to give back to their family, society and the world. Nevertheless, this can only happen if we the parents, teachers and school management gets along and help in building this environment together.

We believe that students’ academic excellence is utmost important but we also deeply consider that it alone cannot help the student achieve success. That is why we provide a perfect balance between academic and co-curriculum/ extra curriculum activities. Our dream is to see every child flourishing and reaching every possible height. IPC GOALS

International Primary Curriculum (IPC):Interntational Primary Curriculum is a comprehensive, thematic, creative curriculum for 3 to 11 year olds, with a clear process of learning and with specific learning goals for every subject, for international mindedness and for personal learning.

International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC):The IEYC uses international best practices, holistic enquiry and play-based approaches that cover all curriculum areas including personal, social and emotional development for children aged 2 to 5 years old.

International Middle Year Curriculum:A challenging, engaging, internationally-minded, concept-focused curriculum designed specifically for the unique learning needs for 11 to 14 year olds in lower secondary.
